How to cancel Netflix
Cancel Netflix on the web, iPhone, or Android. Keep access until the billing period ends, and check Apple or Google if they bill you.
Steps
Cancel Netflix yourself

Open Netflix’s cancel page
Go to netflix.com/cancelplan on a browser and sign in with the account that pays. The phone app does not always show the full cancel flow.

Confirm whose profile pays
Use the profile tied to the billing owner. A kids or extra-member profile cannot cancel the household plan.

Cancel membership
Choose Cancel Membership and confirm. Netflix usually lets you keep watching until the date you already paid for.

Check Apple or Google
If you started Netflix through the App Store or Google Play, also cancel that store subscription in Settings or Play → Payments.

Save the confirmation
Keep the email. On your next statement, the charge should stop after the paid period ends.
Watch for
Before you confirm
- A pause option is not a cancel. If you want out, complete Cancel Membership.
- Gift cards and partner bills (a mobile carrier, Amazon, or a TV bundle) must be ended with that partner.
