How to cancel GitHub Copilot or Pro

Cancel GitHub yourself

1. Open GitHub billing

   Sign in and go to github.com/settings/billing.

2. Copilot

   Under Copilot, choose Cancel Copilot. Confirm. Access lasts until the period ends.

3. GitHub Pro

   If you also pay for Pro, cancel that plan on the same billing page.

4. Organizations

   Company Copilot is canceled by an org owner, not every member.

5. App Store

   Rare for GitHub, but if Apple bills you, cancel in iPhone Subscriptions too.

Before you confirm

• Public repos stay. Paid extras stop.
• Copilot Business is a different SKU from individual Copilot.
